The Jerusalem Municipality demolished a wing of the Shepherd Hotel in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah yesterday morning (9 January). The demolition was ordered to make way for a new Jewish settlement, complete with 20 housing units, a three-story parking structure and an access road.
