"The mood in Gaza is a mixture of anger and shock as thousands rallied to protest the nearly 2,000 documents Al-Jazeera TV leaked this week revealing concessions made by the Palestinian Authority and PLO on Jerusalem al-Quds.
Palestinian factions attended a meeting that was called for by the Islamic Jihad movement to discuss what they described as serious and unacceptable concessions offered by PA officials in secret talks with Israel and agreed on a unified stance on the Palestinian rights.
Palestinian refugees who make up 70 percent of Gaza's population live in eight refugee camps in a very low standard of living.
al-Awda, the Palestine Right to Return Coalition says Palestinian refugees today are the world's longest suffering and largest refugee population.
Since their displacement in 1948, Palestinian refugees still have hope that they will one-day return to their own land. They say that the Palestinian Authority negotiators do not represent all Palestinians and they had no right to bargain away their homeland on their behalf.
According to United Nations Relief And Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) there are nearly five million registered Palestinian refugees including nearly 1.5 million who live in 58 refugee camps in the Middle East.
For Palestinian refugees of whom there are millions across the world, the right of return to their homeland remains sacred. They say that they are determined to make it happen, despite all obstacles.
