Over 400 people gathered in front of the Beer Sheva courthouse yesterday (January 23) afternoon to protest the ongoing destruction of the Palestinian Bedouin village of al-Araqib. The demonstrators also marked the first court hearing scheduled to discuss the village's injunction against the Jewish National Fund (JNF). Residents and their supporters served the JNF with a stop work order last week after their homes were destroyed for the tenth time since July 2010.
