Since March 2010 Israel has shot 97 Palestinians who were collecting rocks or tending to their crops. In the last three weeks 22 Palestinians have been shot. What makes this all the more disgusting is that these people are doing this work simply to survive. In the case of collecting rocks they are doing this so the rocks can be crushed and made into cement because cement is banned by the Israeli blockade. Many of those shot are children like the 15 year-old in this video who was shot twice in the legs. It is crystal clear that Israeli soldiers are doing this because they know there will be no punishment; even more perverse, they are undoubtedly doing this because it is some form or entertainment for them.
