"The Killing of Iman Al Hams makes a compelling case that mass opposition to Israel's never-ending atrocities is necessary and possible. The short film focuses on an unexceptional example of Israeli murder that only the chance publication of military radio communications thrust into the public domain.
'While in Gaza a couple of years ago, I made the core of this film, The Killing of Iman Al Hams, by interviewing Mr. Samir Al Hams, in Rafah Refugee Camp.
In the 13-minute testimony heart of the film, Mr. Al Hams reports the facts of the Israeli army's execution of his child and the shocking official response. The other twelve minutes present evidence that this is a common occurence, and argue that BDS is the appropriate response to Israeli savagery.
A CD version of this little film is available for a donation to SPSC.
Deryck Beaumont and I made the film a couple of years ago but pressure of work prevented it being aired. A version with Arabic subtitles added will be posted shortly.'
