Filippo Grandi, Commissioner General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) warned that schools and clinics in Gaza and other areas would regrettably be forced to shut down if donors do not provide the needed assistance to cover UNRWA's financial deficit.
In a statement released by UNRWA to the media, Mr. Grandi said UNRWA is facing a financial deficit of US$84 million for UNRWA's basic educational and health programs.
