On 'Hebron Day,' the colonial Israeli settlers nationalistic holiday, the Azzeh family continues to assert their rights. The Azzeh family is a strong and kind family that is proudly Palestinian, as with all the families that are part of the community of Tel Rumeida, Hebron, Palestine. As with all these families, they continue to struggle against colonial occupation for their community and their country.
As the Azzeh children walk home from school, they are stopped by a mob of colonial settler women and children, including Tzippy Schlissel, the great-granddaughter of the first chief Rabbi of Israel, Yehuda Kook; Mirar; and Yifat Alkobi. Tzippy Schlissel can be seen using her crying baby to strike out at a colonial Israeli soldier to move him back.
The Azzeh mothers try to reach their children to help them and are attacked by colonial Israeli settlers, including Mirar. Three-year-old Yunis Azzeh is stoned in the head.
