Theft and Destruction of Land in Issawiya, East Jerusalem

Last week, at least two dozen Israeli soldiers were on-hand as excavation machines dug up Palestinian land in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya.

Residents were denied access to the area - which Israel argues belongs to the Israel Land and Parks Authority - and were forced to watch from a distance as their family lands were destroyed.
