Israel has released civilians previously arrested aboard the Rachel Corrie aid ship as international protests continue against Tel Aviv's deadly attack last week on an aid convoy.

A spokeswoman for the Israeli immigration office said all the 19 people on board the Irish-owned ship have left, AFP reported on Monday.

She also added that the five Irish nationals, including Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mairead Maguire, had flown out on a plane which left at around 5:00 a.m. (0200 GMT).
Two Iranian aid ships carrying humanitarian relief and medical supplies for the people of Gaza will set sail for the coastal sliver in the upcoming days.

Iran's Red Crescent announced Monday that the cargo will include food, medicine and appliances and it will be accompanied by a group of Iranian doctors and relief workers.
