Al Ma'sara Demo Against the Apartheid Wall - Feb 12, 2010

Palestinians, Israelis and internationals walk on the main road during a demonstration against the Wall in the West Bank village of Al Ma'sara on 12.02.2010. Around 50 Palestinians, Israelis and internationals demonstrated against the Wall in Al Ma'sara. The demonstrators surprised the sodliers by changing the usual route of the demonstration. They went down to the main road, which is forbidden to walk on for Palestinians on Fridays, and began walking towards their lands which are not unreachable because of the Wall. The Israeli soldiers stopped the march and violently pushed back the demonstrators ot the village, and threatened the main speakers that they would be arrested. At the end, the soldiers threw sound bombs and tear gas canisters directly at the crowd.
