living in a cold tent in the rain
a year after Israel's massacre of Gaza, families are still living in tents. Virtually no reconstruction has taken place in Gaza --despite the over 6300 destroyed or badly damaged houses and the 16,000 other damaged houses--and what has occured has been small select projects for international NGOs, or homes built out of mud bricks.
The siege broke down Gaza's infrastructure for years before Israel's massacre destroyed homes, water and sanitation, farmers wells and fields...lives... hopes... dreams...feelings of security...
