Israeli soldiers on Friday attacked Palestinian and international peace activists holding the weekly non-violent protest against the Wall in Ni'lin village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

The protesters marched in commemorating 61 years of the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe), the day Israeli was created after expelling thousands of Palestinians and killing hundreds more.

As soon as the crowed reached that lands were the army is building the wall, troops attacked them with batons and tear gas.

Six protestors were injured and dozens were treated for the effects gas inhalation.

Earlier on Friday morning Israeli soldiers invaded the village and took positions on roof tops of famers' homes to try to stop the protest of leaving the village to the location of the wall.
