Protesters lock themselves together in front of AIPAC dinner:

"People protested in front of the Marriot Hotel tonight in support of the people of Gaza. The Marriot was hosting a fundraising dinner for AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee). The meal was $1500 a plate. The protesters found the fundraiser in poor tase considering Israels recent seige in Gaza which killed over 1,300 Palestinians. While the protest was going on, around a dozen protesters split up and locked themselves toegther in front of two Marriot entryways. The footage above was taken immediately after the protesters locked themselves together."



Protest At AIPAC Fundraiser:

"NEW YORK -- January 29, 2009. 250 protesters made a racket outside the Marquis Marriott hotel in Times Square - the cold weather did not deter the determined. Raising Palestinian flags, and their voices, demonstrators let the participants in the AIPAC fundraiser hear their anger."
